My name is Richard Hauer and I'm working as a musician, guitar teacher, web designer, composer and a lot of other stuff where I'm able to be creative.
I was born in Borås, Sweden 1978 and raised in the area of Göteborg, Sweden. Early in my life I realized that I wanted to play the guitar for the rest of my life and been doing that ever since. I went to some schools in Sweden to improve my skills. My education list happened to be pretty long in the end. I started at Hvitfeldska high school of music in Göteborg, continued with Folkuniversitetets Jazz improvisation course, then Sundsgårdens kind of collage and finally did a Masters Degree in Jazz Teaching at Malmö academy of music.
Right after my studies I startet working as a musician in different bands and constallations around Europe and the US. My teaching education just had a break for a couple of years before I finally took it up again and started teaching part time.
Now I'm playing with a couple of different bands both as steady member and freelance. In the spare time of my working I'm developing a solution for adapter cables as you can find in my menu named "Haudio". Computers always been a big part of my life and it would been devastating for me if I had'nt one.
